An Early Birthday Treat

Christmas break is officially here and we have a busy couple of weeks ahead of us.  Before the Christmas craziness and our trip to Florida, we planned an early birthday treat for Hannah and her BFF Emma.  Unfortunately, Emma got sick the morning we planned to hang out, so we revamped our plans.    Instead of a girls day, we made it a Daddy/Mommy/Hannah day.  We started out by finally seeing Frozen in the theaters.  It was so fabulous!  I have a feeling this will be a favorite movie for quite sometime!  Since we had gift cards to the theater, we even treated ourselves to popcorn and drinks during the movie.  When the movie was over, we went to a popular cupcake place for dessert and a little gift for Hannah.  Even though it wasn't exactly how we planned, it was nice to spend some one-on-one time with our almost 5 year old!
