Memorial Day Weekend

I know I've said it before, but we have the most amazing group of friends from our college days.  We all met through our campus ministry at WIU -- some of us meeting just over 10 years ago!  We have been through many major life changes together and our relationships continue to grow.  I thank God for bringing these friends into our lives and for allowing us to stay in touch through the years.  The women in the group are my long distance life-lines when it comes to growing as a woman of faith as well as a Godly mother.  We are now in the young family stage and between us there are seven kids with one on the way.  We try to get together a few times a year and made Memorial Day weekend one of those times.  The Gorsch's opened up their home for us and the Knopp's to stay (and so thankful that the Windham's are close).  We had a great weekend of kid time, mommy time, friend time and so much more.

We had a ton of fun!  The first day, we took the kids to the Dupage County Children's Museum.  The kids had fun in the art area making "prints"
and the boys loved to build and break.
 Water table fun all around...
 especially this guy!
The kiddos enjoyed time in the pool (I think they may need a couple of toys)
and running through the sprinkler on a hot day.
A couple of cookouts with lots of kids.
Some Daddy/Son "Just Dance" bonding time.
We had fun at the park nearby the house.
And two little girls who had a ton of fun together the whole weekend!

We love you all so much and are beyond blessed to have you in our lives!  I hope we have many more of these types of weekends together!

These Two...

are so much fun to watch together!  We have two little hams on our hands.  Hannah really wanted to "hold" brother and this is what we got.  It won't be long before he is holding her!  As crazy as it gets sometimes, the love Hannah and Cameron show each other is awesome.  I pray they build a strong bond and will always be close.  Thank you, God, for giving us these two precious kids!
