Old Fashioned Christmas

I have always loved going to the Historic St. Charles to window shop and walk around. I knew they did a Old Fashioned Christmas throughout December, so today we loaded up and headed over for the morning. First of all, the decorations are beautiful with real garland all over the place. Then, they have about 30 different characters that walk around passing out their "trading cards" for the children to collect. At first, Hannah wasn't so sure, but soon she warmed up to the idea. They also have groups of carolers throughout the streets singing. We only stayed about an hour, but we will definitely be going back next year! What a great morning as a family spending time together!

Here are the first people we see -- Father Christmas from England and Pere Noel from France.
Then we also saw Mrs. Claus! Hannah was really excited about meeting her!
